My oatmeal consists of oats, almond milk, seasonal fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a banana. The seasonal fruits were some blackberries that I got and some frozen blueberries. The banana and the almond milk gently sweetens the oatmeal making it that delicious (I didn’t have to put sugar or sweeteners in there). Yes, I mashed up a banana in there.
To serve it up, I have a glass of almond milk to drink as well.
I love Korean Spicy Tofu Seafood Soup!
So the other day, my friend was over and of course, I made her dinner.
What did we have?
– Spicy Tofu Seafood Soup
– Bulgogi Inspired Beef Stir-Fry
– Steamed Rice
– Cookies and Cream Cake (Yeah, It’s as delicious as it looks and sound)
Of course, the pictures =)
I finally bought myself a lovely shade of coral for my lips. Again, this is not really a haul, just some things that I wanted to try out. My current concealer isn’t that great (it’s the Cover Girl one). So, I decided to try Revlon. I have used Revlon products on a couple of photo-shoots before and the quality was not bad at all. And of course, I loveeeee DollyWink! It gives me great lengths on my eyelashes but sometimes, the volume that I want is not all there. So I purchased the Volum’Express Mascara.
P.s. As I was writing this post, I realized that the mascara I have bought is in “Glam Brown”. Stupid as I am, I will have to go and exchange it for the Black. =(
Mmmm, so here’s another edition to the fusilli. I had a whole pack of ground beef that I didn’t use (I was originally going to incorporate the ground beef with the Italian sausage but didn’t). Anyhow, I had some rigatoni kicking around. So, I made a cream sauce that is loaded with garlic. Yes, I love garlic!. So simple, but so good. And actually, there’s not much butter or fat in this sauce. I took the time to really drain out the oil from the ground beef. And I actually used some plain yogurt in the sauce (this eliminated the use of a lot of butter/cream/milk).
I had realized that I haven’t had pasta for a while. I love love love pasta.
So I looked in the pantry and found some uncooked pasta. I decided to go with the fusilli because I had red chili peppers left in the fridge and I wanted to do a spicy sauce.
None the less, I added some bell peppers, onions, garlic, chili peppers, and Italian sausage to the sauce with the noodles. Result? Delicious ! =)
Hehe, so the Sally Hansen nail polishes that I have ordered finally arrived!
The colors: super cute.
I didn’t have any shade of lilac purple so I ordered one. I thought black and taupe would be great for fall. And of course, the blue and pink was a ‘just because’.
* I’ve titled all pictures (I mean all), so if you ever wonder about a name of a polish, dish, brand, etc; just click on the picture =)
** Sadly, my nails are still short… I’d say a couple more days? My nails should be appropriate by then. Fingers crossed.
Oh my goodness. The other day, we ventured out to this little restaurant recommended by one of our friends. Was it delish? Yes !
This cute little restaurant (somewhat hidden) had amazing Japanese food. No, I am not talking about “sushi”. I am talking about good ol’ Japanese meals. It was fairly priced but there are a couple of dishes that were a little more expensive. One of them was the Steak with Soy Butter Sauce which went for $20.00. The portions however, was huge! Mmm, the curry sauce was perfect; it was savory with a little bit of sweetness.
I would totally go back there again 😉
